    RIP Ralph Milne

Cracking player back in the day.

Sad to hear of Ralph milnes death

He was part of a very good Dundee utd team,a team that won the most exciting ending to a premier season with 3 teams challaging to the last game

Apparently Ralph was Dundee utd all time highest scorer in Europe.

Sadly like a lot of other footballers ,alcohol not only shortened his career but life as well.

sad news, great player in his day, my first game at celtic park was v dundee utd in september 1979. celtic were leading 2-1 and late in the 2nd half, milne ran through from midfield and shot from about 25 yards into the goal at the celtic end. i was behind the goal and shouted shoot as i saw him running towards goal, and he did, latchford got a hand to it
