Fitba lose twice, Rugby lose, Amdy Murray loses. All over the past few days.

Is there anyone in Scotland that can play sport anymore?

You can over analyse these things. We are basically a small country. Small countries do greatness in flashes. We have qualified for more world cup finals than any other country in Europe our size or smaller.

Andy Murray is 100x the professional any of our footballers ever will be. He might never be the best tennis player in the world, but not because he doesn't give it his best shot. He'll sit in his old age knowing he was always as good a tennis player as he was capable of being.

C&C the captain of the Scotland football team is photographed lying p1shed in a street surrounded by a half eaten pizza the week before a cup final. Murray would never let that happen to him.

Murray is arguably Scotland's top sportsman of all time. And if he has any rivals to that, it's more likely to be Sir Chris Hoy than and footballer of recent times.

i agree with wally about andy murray, and the pizza incident was much regretable and unproffesional, but im sure the chap in question was not proud of that moment.

the problem we have in scottish sport and football in general is when you get a team who get reasonable success but actually boast about having a drinking culture. "the team who drink together wins together" was a famous quote from this football team who regularly got humped on the big stage during the 90,s. sadly that club didnt have the foresight to understand that teams who drink to much get humped too much. you dont see andy murray boasting of drinking parties do you.

there is too much the drinking culture and spending other peoples money to win but no pay it back mentality in scottish football,

As Psych say's we are a small country, But even so we have produced some great teams and individuals, 3 of our fitba reams have won Euro Trophies one actually won 2, Alex Ferguson may well be the best football manager the wurld has ever seen, Andy Murray could well be the best tennis player these Islands has ever produced, Chris Hoy, Jackie Stewart& Jim Clark Eric Liddell, Footballers like Jim Baxter, Davie Cooper, Kenny Dalglish, Denis Law,Jimmy Johnstone would play in any World 11 from any era, Benny Lynch, Ken Buchannan, Dick Taggart, Alan Wells Liz Mccolgan, and of course the creme de creme Jocky Wilson,
