I've looked into this with quite a bit of interest. I wonder if it would be possible for a minor shareholder like myself or a good number of other people who like me own a few shares in the club to do the same to a Crewe Alexandra director, who on first impression could be thought of as doing something if not the same but quite similar?

It would be something I could do now I'm retired :-)

I would go along with you but not being a shareholder, however i would contact the President of Blackpool who would point you in the correct direction, and also you can get free legal advice anytime.

Like it or not, our directors aren't stupid. I'm also a shareholder but we'd be on a road to nowhere - we don't like what they're doing but there's nothing illegal about it.

What is happening at Crewe with money being loaned to a board member is not illegal. We may not like it, but it is not a crime.
