    FAO Wally

Just wondered whether you're still of the (mistaken) belief that haddies like Kiernan and Waghorn are "a level above" the players at the disposal of Aberdeen?

It's just that I watched Kiernan et al last night come up well short against St Johnstone.

Kiernan himself was bullied and outpaced by O'Halloran and in the 2nd half even tried to nutmeg a Saints player when last man. I'm not sure that I even attempted that in BB football.

Waghorn barely beat a man and was generally dealt with comfortably by a side that has been leaking goals.

Tavernier looked half decent. Do you think he'd want to play back-up to Shay Logan when our Liverpool loanee McLaughlin returns south?

Hopefully last night gave you the reality check you need - Rangers are nowhere near top-end Premiership standard yet. I expect you'll continue to argue otherwise though, much to our amusement.

To be fair to walloper, I think he was only sidekicking supersally, who was claiming these english journeymen were going to be better than anyone bar celtic and would be playing in the champions league in a couple of seasons. walloper doesn't actually have any actual opinions of his own.
