Wow. We played like the Greeks in the 2004 Euros.

It was not pretty. But the lads stayed calm, collected and executed the plan. They were workmen out there today. It almost worked.

Liverpool never figured it out that they needed to dribble the ball in through the defense or turn it back to create some gaps. They just kept coming at us in the same old way. The timely touches by the defense were manifold. Brilliant = all 8 of them playing back there nearly the whole match HAHAHA

Milner was one of the few players who tried and managed to dribble the ball in through the layers of defense and shoot. It was one of their best attempts. Liverpool didn't learn from this. Their goal was beautifully executed though. Milner started that too - with a great pass out to the flats.

15 saves by our goalie. 47 to 4 in shots taken.

And McQueen was brilliant. His run of nearly a third of the field with the ball before dishing it off for our goal. He was aided by a compl

That was a fantastic game, I would have took pens before kick off as it would mean we hadn't been thrashed.

It is hard work holding one of the biggest clubs in the world to a draw, especially at Anfield.

Kept expecting them to get the regular goal that would crush us in the last minute - still buzzing with pride, even after losing on pens.

I'm disappointed not to have won, to be honest. Ibhere fluffed the chance that should have won it by shooting straight into Bogdan's hands at the kop end. All credit to the manager and players however, for executing a tactical plan perfectly.

I and then vanlisle get done off oldport.I for one do not go for tiredness or any of that crap so don't even think it,if you want something enough it does not come into the equation and would be a feeble excuse if that was true.Did not stop Liverpool winning did it,bring on the Orient express and we shall see what `they` are made of.Good test is it not with or without the big man upfront and a good game for curley to do his stuff well i man.
