Scoular. You are absolutely right. I was there Tues and today. Get rid of Cook. Listen boys. We need a manager that will get us promotion. Not knobbing around with the ball in our own half. I was really disappointed today. Frankly my patience is wearing a bit thin. Yoevil for fecks sake. Pathetic.

    Bubble has burst

I was very disappointed and frustrated again today. We aren't good enough to win matches at home, away yes, but not a at home. PC seems to want them to play across and back no matter what the score is, 2.0 down to Exeter being one example. Yeovil set out to keep a clean sheet so it was up to us to break them down. We couldn't, no surprise. Our first half tempo today was nowhere near what is required to win games. 2nd half we did up that tempo but again we were well short of what is required, despite 71% of possession. Having passed the ball across the back repeatedly, we haven't enough players with pace going through the centre, if we go wide our crosses are abysmal mostly. Bennett drives me nuts although I cant grumble about the way he tries. Roberts is clearly not 100%, Stockley is no better than Taylor, Barton, as some amazed Cov fans that we signed him said, isn't very good at all. Stevens did manage one good cross late in the first half, but it took him 1 and a half games to manag

Cook is obviously not the man for Pompey. Get him out and get someone in who sets his team up to Attack. What I've seen this season at home is shyte. Get Cook out. Get a bloke who wants to attack.

Borrowed from the News comments tonight, the way one fan sees it...

Mr.Cook. I write off a whole day to watch Pompey as many of us do, and todays first half show was unimaginative and totally boring. I felt it was another wasted journey. Back and sideway passes and long balls pumped up to a short striker. As a professional Coach how can you set up a team at home like that when you are lucky enough to have 17,000 fans packed in expecting entertainment. Frankly you should be apologising for two inept displays. Don't blame Yeovil, or Exeter. We play right into their hands. I fear for the future once again actually because you are already displaying an arrogant dogmatic approach refusing to make changes when 99.9% of the crowd can see what's glaringly wrong. Its Awford all over again for me..

Love. We are going backwards. You know it and i know it, we should be making mincemeat of crap teams like Yeovil. We are dropping down the

were going backwards, sorry i cant agree with that, neither sack cook after 11 games of which we have lost one, frustrating yesterday very much so,but not for lack of trying, imo cook changed it at h.t,bit more direct, just lacked a cutting edge, but im sure he will work on that,id rather have this team and manager any day of the week than some of the ****e we have had in last 5 years plus,i can see this fantastic club slowly turning round and heading in the right direction with imo a very good manager, keep the faith i will tell you now this club will be in league 1 next season, with crowds of 17,309 he must be doing something right

I cannot believe that a minority of Pompey fans are actually talking about getting rid of Cooke.......kendaldaz is spot on with his take on the current situation.......does anyone remember what the last few seasons were like?

I know Scully and LDB very well and know they are both dyed in the wool Pompey fans. Must admit I'm surprised to find them talking this way and can only put it down to their advancing years.
Best to leave them alone and they will find their way back to the true path. Jabbing them with sticks will just make them worse.
