wales and northen ireland would never have qualified from scotlands group either. scotland would be in the play offs if it wasnt for 2 offside goals go against us in the group.

as for england, they always qualify for tournaments, and so they should them being the size they are, but once there, they can never compete with countries as big as them.

fact is, since 1966, germany have finished ahead of england in 21 tournaments. england finishing ahead of germany in 3. those stats tell the whole story.

Fair play to all the teams that qualify they are there in merit and deserve to be there..

Scotland werent good for years but we are slowly improving . One thing about the Scottish supporters they back their team we also applaudthe opposing team off the park win or lose.

but we have to remember its easier for England to qualify for tournaments as they are righfully seeded..its what you do when you get there thats when to judge.

We are far from perfect, but apart from the woeful performance in Georgia, did ok in all the games in this group.

Germany decided to lose in Poland and Ireland and screw us up.

Delighted for N.Ireland and Wales - but one had a group where 'first seeds' Greece were so good they lost twice to the Faroes, and the other has Gareth Bale.

I actually think our biggest problem is that the English league is so over-rated (see recent European results), that our management fall into the trip of thinking people that play for some of the mediocre clubs down there can do a job for us.
