    Former Bolton Defender Gary Cahill to Captain England...

    Gary Cahill will add a new honour to his CV on Friday, when he leads England out as captain for their Euro 2016 qualifier against Estonia.

    Cahill, who joined Bolton in a £5million transfer from Aston Villa in January 2008, remains a popular figure amongst Wanderers supporters, despite leaving the club in January 2012 in a £7million move to Chelsea.

    Following Steven Gerrard's decision to retire from international football in July 2014, Wayne Rooney was handed the Three Lions' captaincy, with Cahill appointed as vice-captain.

    Rooney will miss England's qualifying fixture on Friday evening after picking up a minor knock in Manchester United's 3-0 defeat at Arsenal on Sunday, so Cahill will lead out his country for the first time as Roy Hodgson's side look to extend their winning record in the group to nine games.

    What a load of c**p we sold him for £4.5m and i think we did well getting that he is garbage!
