By coincidence Durham, I actually saw this happen last Thursday.

The dog actually "told" the blind person where the "business" was with a series of signals. The blind person successfully scooped it up, then the dog led them to a bin. It was all smoother than a heist in an Ocean's 11 film.

No idea at all, I'm not blind, nor do I know any blind people who have guide dogs.
