Birmingham City v Wolves Matchday Thread

Wolves go into this game on a run of three defeats since the last international break. Birmingham City on the other hand have won four out their last five games and are currently sixth in the table.

Injury worries have become a problem for Wolves in recent weeks with Kortney Hause added to the list. Two loan signings have joined, with both Mike Williamson and Grant Holt added to the squad. I'm hoping for a response today from Wolves. - view external link

Starting XI: Martinez; Iorfa, Batth, Williamson, Golbourne; Byrne, McDonald, Coady, Henry; Edwards; Afobe

Bench: Ikeme, Doherty, Price, Graham, Ojo, Holt, Le Fondre

Price on for Coady only question mark I suppose. Will be interesting if Graham makes League debut. And if Holt gets on late.

I'll be driving to Cleveland for my grandma's birthday today, but I'll be listening to the match on the way.

Early days but I like the way Williamson is taking charge and talking to players

Yes thank God for Williamson-yes give him that armband. Henry needs to improve his crossing on the ball. Afobe looks lacking confidence and needs to keep himself onside.
But we are hanging on holding our own. Thank God for Dave Edwards.
    Come on Wolves!

1st Half. Williamson's looked solid and Byrne and Henry have both played quite well taking players on. Batth still looks a liability, too slow to anticipate and react and on anther day that could have been a penalty. Coady's not looked to be in the game enough and that perhaps isn't helping KMac. Perhaps there is an argument for a KMac/Price partnership! Only other real disappointment is that we don't get enough bodies in the box when we are attacking.
