It can't be long given the growing interest in English Football here.
It has become so common to see Americans of all stripes wearing English Football gear.
You can hear Americans talking about English Soccer everywhere you go now. They even know many of the playerss on the rosters.
It is not uncommon to hear something like this in the line at the grocery store, at the water bottle at work or at a table in a coffee house

I've been watching a bit of MLS since moving to North America and they haven't dicked with the rules of the game at all - so this kind of paranoia is unjustified.

The MLS seems sterile to me. You cannot imagine how much it has improved too. And it still leaves me flat.
Sport in Amerika is RollerBall corporate crud. I can only tolerate MLB (baseball) on the radio any longer. All other "Big Time" sport gives me the zombie mind meld headache.
