    UK Media

On the very the same day as those ISIS Scvm
killed 129 in Paris, two suicide bomber killed 47 and injured over 200 in Beirut, Yet we have heard virtually nothing on our media,
Does that mean our media value all human life equally? Or WE do ? Or are some lives more newsworthy, more valued, than others?
Do our media TELL us when we need to be angry, outraged, and when not to be ?
We as fellow Human beings really need to start asking questions of our Government as well as our crap Media,

UK media is no better than the mouthpieces in Russia that our media look down their nose at. Sadly too many in this country consider our media to be honest brokers and they are no such thing.

Sadly it's not just the UK media but the western media in general.

In Canada ,the bombings in Lebanon were giving maybe the 3rd top story and forgotten the next day while the Paris attacks 3 days later are still giving top billing and wall to wall coverage.

It does seem that Middle East bombings are less important, sad we see people of different colour or faith in a different light

Phuck all to do with colour or faith and all to do with a threat to us.

The closer to us the more coverage.

European capitals being targeted is not an everyday occurrence.

I'm not sure the last time you were in Beirut Stewarty but plenty of people you know will have been to Paris is recent years so when something like this happens it shocks people more than stuff happening in the Middle East, particularly as we see stuff like that all the time in the Middle East.

A certain section (the lefties) criticising people for showing solidarity with Paris and not Beirut several days earlier. Well, you can bet your bottom Dollar that if people had posted stuff on Facebook about Beirut they would've been accused by those very same lefties of trying to whip up Islamaphobia... The lefties MO is always to play down any acts of Islamic Terror, the very reason why they themselves kept their traps shut about Beirut. They've only started to mention it now they can get some leverage from it!!!

...and the media. Yawn...yawn....yawn. As usual, the lefties will be glued to their TV sets watching wall to wall news and shouting at the TV at anything said that doesn't f

The UK media are a disgrace in general, the 'lefties' (whoever they are) playing down the Syrian passport were proved to be right when it was found to be a load of shyte last night..

I think rather than spouting off daft opinions people should try to read more & then wait to comment in the cold light of day, jumping up & down about refugees & immigration won't do anyone any favours, along with the French bombing of Raqqa last night. This mess is going to get a lot worse before it gets any better & I'd imagine the media coverage will be exactly the same.

As for the stuff on Facebook, I'm not on Facebook but I've seen what's been going on, people changing their photo to a French flag doesn't make any difference to the victims families or to the terrorists, it's purely a vanity exercise & 'Pray for Paris'? I've got bad news for you, there is no God & if there was, he would have better things to do than look at people's Facebook profiles, it's a pointless soundbite, next week these s

You really must stop and read and understand whats actually being said !!! I was talking about the value the Western Media places on human life.

And you really must stop and understand that the WESTern media will always focus more on atrocities that happen in the WEST. If you take that as some kind of quantifier of value of life then so be it.

It's quite sick that people like yourself are using what happened in Paris to continue your agenda against 'the media' .

I must've missed your thread on Beirut and Nigeria , maybe you could bump them so we can have a read cause I'm sure whilst the western media didn't reflect enough on it I'm sure you will have.

"To be honest I'm anti-politics. I've no love of the right"
But I'm going for a world record for mentioning the word"lefties" in one post.
These other atrocities mentioned above are Muslims killing fellow Muslims, but maybe that doesn't suit Neilo's(Rightie)agenda.
    [/quote]

Lol... I don't have an agenda. I support multicultural Paris or London..or anywhere all colours and creeds mix together. The terrorists didn't discriminate, they killed them all regardless.

As I said earlier, if I'd started a thread about Beiruit etc I'd probably have been accused of trying to promote Islamaphobia ...
