Celtic skipper Scott Brown and reportedly ex manager Neil Lennon allegedly " persuaded " not to come out in favour of Independence last year ...Celtic Chairman Bankier and other big business heads based in Scotland held talks with Cameron about tactics to deliver a NO VOTE,
Perhaps I can advise the "Green Brigade" their next pseudo -politico banner should be aimed at their own board, - view external link

Give it up FFS savvy - Celtic are no more going to be brought into the Premiership than Dead Co. are to win the European Cup
I never said they would, I said the carrot was dangled in front of them, Cameron and co have form on renaging on promises, as for giving it up, I'm on record stating that i DONT want them in the Premiership, they are a Scottish team and should play in Scotland, if anything I would rather the " Atlantic league" thing.
You're saying that the carrot of something that was never likely to happen was dangled in front of them and they bought it? Seriously?
I really love how every fecker on here is an expert on things that have never happened just because YOU think it, how the feck do you know what will or won't happen in the future? Did Cameron and his cronies not promise allsorts to Scotland if they stayed in the union then renage on it? I'm just trying to say that maybe Cameron used the same tactics with them, if you were there at the meeting I fully apologise. :-(
And I also said " mibbes" I'm sorry if I never made it sarcastic enough for you.
Cameron the crafty carrot dangler?

Neil Lennon was,not celtic's manager in sept last year,so I fail to see why his opinion on independence would have mattered.
Sadly John Reid and Jim Murphy ,both so called Celtic fans both were vocal in their support for NO and no doubt their feelings were a*bleep*st friends in the Celtic boardroom of the same political persuasion.
Only both Dundee teams can come out with any dignity in the referendum, only 2 teams came out and nailed their views in print.
BTW,Archie McPherson said a NO vote would see Celtic in the EPL and Archie is neve
Archie Mcpherson. My running mate used to work with him setting up sound system prior to him commentating on match days wont go into whatvhe said about him but said he was rather snobby.
putting it mildly.
Go on tell us Buc what did McPherson say, Did he mention Him Scone and Kenneth McKeller in a Hamburg Brothel ?![]()
