    Dom Thomas on the mark?

Dom Thomas scores one and Dylan Mackin with two goals for Under 21's in a 3-1 victory against Falkirk.By all accounts some nice football was played by the WELL with some good individual performances

Both Thomas and Mackin were singled out by McGhee as great prospects for the future at Monday's Meet the Manager event. Let's hope they continue to improve.

Disappointing that we never had any players in the Scotland under 19s this week

Its always harder for our players to break into the squad than it is for others with bigger clubs who get more publicity. That said, perhaps our current crop aren't good enough.

Scotland ignoring the Motherwell youth set-up at least cheers me that the U19 coach there perhaps has a clue - our crops for years have been embarrassing, if he was picking any of our players (at least on the evidence available publicly) it would be a massive concern.

Thomas and Mackin following on from Erwin might be the start of a new trend but I've got my doubts.

I would suspect they arent if they can get into what is basically a cack 1st team at FP.
