Is the best return we've ever had in the championship.
I'm supervised there's not a lot more praise being given to the management and team for this.
At this point last year we were top on 32 points. Only differnence is we'd scored 9 more goals but conceded 5 more too.
Let's get to half way in top spot COYR!!!!

Think you're spot on Sma11y...so much criticism over the Forest disappointment that the real achievement hasn't been fully acknowledged. It's even more of an achievement when you think that we only picked up four points from our first five games and were six games in before our first win. August was a settling in period for the manager and many of the players and our results since September have been quietly spectacular.
I would not get too carried away. If we fail to win on Friday we will be behind where we were at the same stage last season. The margins are tight and I believe all the top 5 are stronger this season than last, including ourselves.
We have not beaten anyone in the top 6 and still have 6 teams in the top half of the table yet to play.
We were in or around the top 3 right up until February last season and were sharing top spot until we nose-dived. Under Paul Clement I do not see that happening this season but I believe we will have to go some to get in front of Hull or the Boro'..
There is always someone who will come out of the pack. Last season after 18 games both Norwich and Watford were outside of the top 6 but they both went up.
Our last 2 seasons should have taught us not to get too carried away. We had just beaten Wolves 5-0 and at one stage were 11 points in front of them and they still finished above us.
Sorry to be a glass half empty person but there you are.
I will go glass half full, we've not lost to anyone in the top six either. It's not going to be a walk in the park for any side.
Who is getting 'carried away' sheffieldrams? Many supporters were very critical after the Forest defeat but actually, that result apart, we have had every reason to be positive over the last three months. That's all that's being said, nothing more. The team has done very well indeed since the end of August, I agree it's going to be tough, for many of the reasons you suggest, but credit where credit is due and in terms of the manager, the team and the ownership I believe us to be in better shape than we were twelve months ago, whatever happens on Friday. As for a team making a late run from the 'pack', maybe Blackburn?
