    Very brief ratings v Hull

Carson - 9 - Absolutely exceptional. He's shown this season that he's been one our most commanding 'keepers in years, but never really had to pull out multiple top class in a game. But last night he was all round quality, his save that was given as a goal kick was particularly brilliant.
Christie - 7 - A threat as usual. Particular highlight was his 40 yard run in which he did not get challenged once as he ran towards the goal.
Keogh & Shackell - 7 - Both solid. Although there were a couple of sloppy moments which Hull failed to take advantage of.
Warnock - 8 - I thought he played very well, but I didn't understand Sky's decision to give him man of the match, thought there were better and more influential players. Not to take anything away from his performance though, as he's been a revelation in recent games.
Thorne - 7 - Brilliant on the ball but was caught out defensively a few times. Something to work on for him because he's so important.
Butterfield - 9 MOTM - Wow. One of th

Am I never allowed to give an honest opinion now without being accused of stubbornness? I'm not opening this can of worms again but as long as he continues to contribute to goals I won't complain about his lack of contribution to the rest of the game.

Just don't see how Thorne only gets a 7... if you can't see the quality of his interceptions and the his strength in winning and not losing the ball . Yes I can recall one serious incident where let a player past him but you have to take into account where we would have been without all the effective interceptions he made.Good as Warnock was he also made errors that could have cost us.
Weimann made an excellent contribution defensively , a point made obvious when his replacement ( Russell) was quite careless.Again, if you did not see this .....not sure what you are actually seeing.

Carson- 9 a few mind blowing saves and no errors that sometimes creep into his game

Warnock -9 got a deserved motm for me he was *bleep*ing amazing time and time again.

Another decent game for christie- 7, although he can be a liability at times but his final ball is improving, just stop wiping out players in dangerous situations and giving the ball away when we're liable to get countered.

Keogh-7, scared me for 10 mins but then pulled it back together, 1 driving run out of defence was particularly impressive.

Shacks-7 again solid few important blocks

Butters-8 scored two top goals and knitted our midfield together all game.

Hendrick -6 didn't see much of him but he didn't do anything wrong

Thorne- 8 great positioning, some nice tackles but gave the ball away a couple of times. I can't believe he's only 22 though.

Ince -4 absolutely dreadful yet again. *bleep* poor waste of a shirt yesterday.

Wiemann -8 full of running created a goal and protected us do

Weimann 7 and Ince 8!! Can't understand that RBF. We all see things differently but I have to agree with Triz and imo Weimann was one of our most effective and committed players - both in attack and defence - last night, while I felt Ince contributed little. Weimann 8.5 and Ince 5 for me but it's all just opinion. Thought Christie was worth an 8 too, great going forward and he'd be even better if he could rely on young Thomas to drop back and cover more when he goes marauding forward.

Call it as you see it RBF.. Good ratings but I would have given Thorne a higher mark.
Great team performance and the longest second half I can remember for a while..
    Worth the trip. COYR.

Just watched it back on telly. Wouldn't change many scores but Weimann 9 Thorne 9 and centre halves 8.5 each. They gave up after 75 mins just hitting long shots. Lads on sky thought Weimann was top class. So do I.
