Heard the sevco game was delayed tonight as their was bits of the Ibrokes roof or something hanging off.
What happened to all the hvn fans that were going to get together and do all the repairs for phuck all?![]()

Joking aside lads there clearly is a health and safety issue with the infrastructure at Ibrox - punters had to be moved from one stand to another last night on health and safety grounds. Hopefully their board will treat it as a matter of utmost urgency and there won't a danger to any spectators or players in upcoming games.
It can serve as a timely reminder for all other clubs to check out their places too at this time of year with winds howling.
Ibrox has a feckin horrendous safety record. Don't expect their board to give a feck about the simple minded hvn hoards. :/
Have to say that, as sensitive as the subject is made out to be, this is true. The board were found to have been negligent after the tragedy in '71. They do have a long history of this, being the site of the UK's first stadium disaster in 1902.Originally Posted by TheLastFootballFan

The last three posts on this thread are in pretty poor taste. There's plenty to laugh at with Rangers without having to stoop to that sort of stuff.

Short sentences and small words will be fine thanks.
I don't see what the bit hanging off the roof last night has to do with what happened in 1902 or 1971, when scores of people died, completely different stadium, completely different people in charge at the time. I'm not aware that the current Ibrox has a 'horrendous safety record'.
Just my take on it, if it's not yours then fire on.
For what it's worth I agree entirely with the point that the fans' safety should be the most important thing.
the old ibrox had several incidents which led to tragedy just prior to 1971, 2 seperate incidents around about 1968 and 1969, should have been warning to those that ran the club at the time, but also should have been a warning to every club who,s ground had vast expanse of terracing, and that was almost every brittish club, so if rangers were guilty, so was everyone else, the tragedy of 1902 was seperate and had diffeent owners responsable.
the current ibrox has nought to do with the old ibrox and is under a different ownership. but hopefully if they have problems they do sort it before a tragedy occurs.
