    Agents' payments

So Pompey top the League 2 charts for agent payments... over a quarter of a million pounds in the year to Sept 30th. Putting that in context, that is more than we got from Wolves for selling our best player Jed Wallace
I know we have signed a lot of players in that year ( quite a few were not worth signing either), i thought that they were nearly all freebies or loans... how on earth can we end up paying that much to agents when some clubs have paid nothing? As an estate agent once said to me "It helps the money to go round"... not so funny when it's your money though

Looking at some of the ****e we had in that time we should be asking for our money back. We needed a manager with contacts, not shelling out that sort of dough to those parasites.

    FYi

    Not quite as it appears.

Nearly the whole amount was connected to and in respect of one deal ( a key one) under contract

Regretably Agents hav established themselves as a necessary evil inthe game

Encouraging to know that all is not as it appears BC.. I see Jordan Cross has picked up the theme in
News today... can't quite work out the gist of what he says although it suggests maybe a lot ot the youngsters and their agents have contributed. In a roundabout way it would seem that he says not to panic

I guess most of the money went to acquiring the services of Cookie and his management team
