    2nd half analysis

Another point at Hillsborough like last season, a tough place to go. Dropped 2 points to catch the top two, but can get those points back when we play Brighton. Sheffield Wednesday deserved a point for bullying us from start to finish and could of got a goal out of the game, but with us having the best defence in the championship we managed to disallow them a goal and hold out for a draw. We lacked firepower in this one just like we did against Forest, to try and break the bullying attempt from Sheffield Wednesday. Hopefully in January we can add to our firepower up front, to prevent teams bullying us and stopping us playing our usual football.

They certainly didn't let us settle...pressed us very hard and we were too slow .we will certainly have to play better against Brighton, ....but overall a decent away point at one of the better teams in the league.

I dont remember seeing a disallowed goal for Wenesday in the 2nd half? Maybe it happened when I was making a cup of tea. Bent had a disallowed goal for flagrant offside - is that the one you mean TMDS?

As for bullyi g I dont agree. Their midfield got in our midfield faces and closed things down by pressurising us in possession but bullying? I dont think so. Wednesday used a high tempo game to try to stop our slow development to good effect. We wanted to find the perfect pass too often and needed to be more direct to stop Wednesday' pressing game...but did not do that till Bent came on giving Martin more support.

Roger that is because there wasn't a disallowed goal from a fourth official, the only disallowing they had was us stopping them from scoring with our beast of defence.

But you said... oh never mind.

I dont remember ever seeing a 4th official disallowing a goal anyway: possibly because its only ever happened once (in August 2015 game Palace v Villa) ....
