Thread: Ive moved on...

    Ive moved on...

    To my next problem Frank

There's this woman at work who I sometimes sit and talk to,she is a lovely pleasant person, always smiling and chatty, anyway she told me that she went to see some old friends in Yorkshire the other week and stopped overnight at the first friends, there she was given some cheese to take home and try as they both love trying different cheeses and wines, then the next day she visits her second friend, puts the cheese in her fridge but forgets to take it home with her,I asked her the of the cheese and she said that it was called Skegness Blue,I told her that if I saw some I would bring her some back the next time I visited Skegness, to cut a long story short I got her some from a farm shop in Lincolnshire, went to work and gave it to her,she promptly put her arms around me and gave me a massive hug, much to the glee of my mate who was with me,he said I ought to ask her out and added that i would be punching well above my weight should she say yes, infact someone

    Hi Chalky ,
For me it doesn't matter what job you do its the person you are that counts . Maybe say to her after work or even at lunchtime I'm going for a coffee would you like to come . if she says no then you know not to bother with asking her out.
If you don't ask you would never know.. 13yrs is a bit of a gap but there's many people dating lassies who are much younger.

Go for it Chalks. You'll only regret it if you don't. And she sounds like a decent sort off of bint who wouldn't go funny on you even if she says no for whatever reason.

    Don't give up Chalky

I think you're more of a slow burner type, keep on friendly terms for a while and go with the flow

Jokingly mention the cheese scenario, who knows she* may have set up the situation knowing you go to Skegness

... I do like a cheese based romance tbf

I cant help except to say this. The Universe has no concept of morality, or right or wrong. It delivers what you order, like a restaurant, or a mindless servant.
I have wanted impossible things and got them. Its amazing, its taken me this long to realise it.
