    Bristol City

I think it'll be incredibly harsh if Hendrick isn't back in the starting XI tomorrow. Johnson has been poor since the Forest match and Butterfield struggles to consistently influence games. I'd prefer to Jeff to come in for Johnson though, I think they're more similar types of players.

All three of our wingers have been atrocious recently, so maybe give Zanzala a go? We keep hearing so much about him and anything would be an improvement on Russell and Weimann who both were practically non-existent against Brighton (minus Johnny winning the penalty).

Anyone fancy giving Bent a run out? Martin's struggled as of late, and although I personally thought he played better against Brighton, maybe a change wouldn't go amiss. Or even 4-4-2.

Finally, I'd rather play Carson with back problems than Grant. He's a mistake waiting to happen. Bristol City like to get their crosses in from what I've seen of them this season and every time a ball is played in Grant's stuck to his line. Although

despite agreeing that our wingers are of colour at moment . there is no chance zanzala playing at moment perhaps a bench against Salford/ Hartlepool. grant seems to make awful errors yes but he also makes some cracking saves he will play while carson unfit.

It was just a thought, I think 4-4-2 is more likely with Johnson on the left. But realistically I think we'll stick with 4-3-3.

I also prefer Carson to Grant, though tbf RBF, I thought Grant was outstanding against Sheff.Wed and 'playing Carson with back problems' might be exacerbating the situation as regards his fitness over the busy Christmas schedule.
Dropping Martin, Weimann and Russell seems like a case of 'chucking the baby out with the bath water'. Martin has undoubtedly been unusually unproductive of late but if the wingers are as bad as you suggest then maybe it's down to lack of service. Manager has to decide who is most to blame I suppose, and act accordingly. Either way, three points is looking pretty ***** tomorrow and dropping Weimann, Martin and Johnson does seem to be removing most of our recent goal supply.

I have similar feelings regarding Johnson vs Hendrick vs Butterfield. I think they are very different players and it's what PC sees in training and what he wants from his CMs that should decide starters.

When I first saw Johnson, I was taken aback by his powerful no nonsense style and great long passing. That led me to thinking straight away that he was the real deal. However since watching him more often, he sees a FB or winger in acres of space and finds them regularly but doesn't seem to see a slid pass between two midfielders to Martin or a runner. Still very early days and I don't want to be over critical but I'm not sure he's as creative as

In the secret footballer books, he says that back problems are usually a cover up for a player not to play. Because even the experts don't fully understand 'a back problem' because that could mean anything. So I'm wondering if Gra

What a brilliant idea to play a footballer with an injury just because you don't like or trust 1 player Man what a stupid thing to say Later in the season after playing an injured player you will be moaning that he wasn't really injured and coming up with a conspiracy theory about Area 51 next !!!

I also noticed on your other thread about how the team did against Brighton that you said Grant not at fault for the goals, although I havent see them I take it you were not at the game so how can you comment on players and how they did with seeing the game?

    Get a grip
