    Have you ever

Read a book where the ending is so heartbreaking that you never want to read it again or listen to a song so sad that you never want to hear it again

Chalky have to admit I've never read a book since the late 70s. But all my family read books.

Mr Mercedes is geet good Griff, I recently ancquired an signed copy off of the follow up (Finders Keepers), but of yet to get round to reading it. The last off of the three (3) is due early next year.

I really can't believe there's anybody who doesert read.

Whats up Chalks? Have you just finished Bridget Jones Diary or summat? I divvent get 'sad' by reading books though some of had an profound effect to the point where I willn't ever re-read them -ly Marabou Stork Nightmares by the geet Irvine Welsh and The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Both grim in the extreme.

It's the same wi' films - Schindlers List, Eden Lake and Hard Candy are all geet brilliant but too hard work for a second viewing.
