    The big "IF".

If we win Saturday at Ipswich we will be in first or second place.................... Probably first, as the game between Brighton & Middlesbrough has got draw written all over it............... Any thoughts?

IF we win and so do hull and the other two draw, we'll all be on the same points with two points per game average. Game on!

If my auntie had a todger she'd be my uncle.........
It's nail biting stuff for sure. Ipswich always a tough place to win. Would you take a point if offered now?

Tough game at Ipswich. Would we be happy with a point? If Boro get there noses in front it seems they are capable of shutting anyone out with their resolute defending. So I feel they could consolidate that top position. Brighton will lose at some point, it's on the cards...

Brighton don't often go behind in games so you might be right V_H. Their fans' criticisms seem to be that they try and see out games instead of pushing on (Hughton's seemingly been taking lessons off Clough). From their 11 wins they only have a +11 GD, they literally haven't won a game by more than one goal this season.

Ipswich have only won 3 of their 10 home games this season, so if we're aspiring to be in the top 2 this season I'd be disappointed if we didn't come away with 3 points. Obviously though they're a big side, very direct. I'd probably take a draw with no injuries over a brutal win.

If we score first I could not see Ipswich scoring twice and beating us

Could be another Sheffield Wednesday game or another Forest game or simply but best of all like the Hull game.

Maybe I am just a doom & gloom merchant, but it always seems when opportunities like this come up we don't take advantage......... Hopefully this Saturday will be different.............. At least I hope so!
