The Christmas season is usually a time to enjoy the ones we love and spread cheer and joy to all we know and be thankful for everything we have, look back on the good times and look forward to many more in the coming year. Wolves seem to be taking a dark, counter-cultural approach to this holiday season. They've decided to remind us of how far we need to go to turn things around, how far we've gone backward, how little to look forward to and just hope for the current season to be done with tomorrow. And to just be pretty gloomy this December 25.
Wolves will welcome Reading to Molineux this weekend. And while their position is farther down the table than when I was postulating on how December would make or break our season (broke it about halfway through), they're still much better going forward than us. Brian McDermott, who oversaw their promotion to the Premier League several years ago, is back at the helm after Nigel Adkins and Steve Clarke could not satisfy the front office. At
