Well, another enthralling week with the top two getting average points but still managing to open up a gap from the rest of us, possibly because NZBlue didn't enter, possibly on account of starting his NYE celebrations very, very early and ending up in a gutter somewhere, or in a strange bed for 48 hours. Who knows, but I have a very vivid imagination.

Elsewhere in the antipodes CAB managed to top-score this week with 11, including the bonus (27 goals; he guessed 29) and two correct 2-1 scores. Well, it has to happen once in a while. I managed a measly 1 point. One. Uno. Eins. Shameful, but at least one more than NZBlue, eh?

Incidentally, three of us correctly forecast Barnsley 2 Millwall 1, and two others had it down as a home. I reckon that's the most points scored (11

Griff , how well you know me . All you have written is true plus the fact I wanted to start the new year on a more even keel with Aussiebranch . The gap between us and the wealth of knowledge shown by me was getting too great so in the interests of fair play I'm giving him a chance to get closer .
