    The Hachet Man

Anybody remember Bob"The Hatchet Man"Scott,he was sitting next to me on Saturday, can`t myself as I was working away in 70-80s.
I heard his running commentary throughout the game, telling the players,in a quiet voice what they had to do.
Would he make a good coach/manager?,must be nearly 63 now,but seemed to know what he was on about.

Grat to hear that Bob is still attending matches.

Pre-Dario man. I remember him well. Gave his all every game, true blood and guts type of player.

I remember him trying to strangle the Northampton forward in the back of the net at the Railway end after Ken Mulhearn had been barged against the post knocking him out. Kevin Lewis was still in the oppenents box at the time (he was L and ran all the way back to join in the fun- headbutting their CB on the way. Needless to say their forward was sent off and no action was taken against Scotty or Kev.

Bob Scott may help give some backbone to the defenders we have at the moment but I thought we had got enough "coaches".
