Thread: Will it be on?

    Will it be on?

I live in North Yorkshire, not too far from the delights of Hartlepool, and I see there are a few murmurs coming out from the club about 'having to beat the weather' to get the game on.

Its rained a lot up here over the last 48 hours and, apparently, there was standing water on the pitch on Tuesday - so it can't have got much better since then. Forecast is for the rain to ease off during the next 24 hours but for those travelling from Derby or further afield I'd be very close to a radio tomorrow morning if I were you.

Fingers crossed it won't just be a pint in the Camerons Brewery Tap on offer on Saturday.

No it'll be 6 or 7 in the camerons, or if the government tells you, 3 for the week.

If it is called off Angry you can always go home via Cheshire and stop for a curry with me in Frodsham or Warrington?

Blimey OTR...I'm sure you're good company and all that, but that's one hell of a detour for a curry.

You never know he might get lost on the way home or get diverted across country because of flooding?

If it was my wife driving you would end up in Inverness. I am not kidding either!!

Here's a woman that got within half a mile of home and found the road blocked by an accident, so turned around and drove 20 miles the other way and then rang me to say she was lost!
