    Missing fans?

I was disappointed by the crowd today, The club made a great gesture of pricing the game at £12/£5 and yet we only had c.3,500 'Well fans turn up, plus 300 + Cove fans (and well done to them). If the downward trend in attendances continues it will be almost impossible to sustain a club capable of staying in the top division. I don't have an answer - unless we return to the days of limited TV coverage and I do not see that happening. Worrying.

It was disappointing considering there was 5000 odd at the Accies game, so the fans are there. If we are honest it's a tough time of year and folk are skint. They maybe expected us to get through and we're saving their dough for more important matches.

I made a conscious decision to go to St j, Accies and the upcoming Hearts game and miss this one. As has been said, Dec-Jan paydays are 6 weeks apart for many and something has to give

Not a great crowd but one of the best of the day even compared to ones involving other Premiership sides eg Kilmarnock. better than many I'd say. St Johnstone V Kilmarnock 3,147; Airdrie V Dundee United 2,330; Dunfermline V Ross County 3,349

Let's be honest here, it was not an attractive fixture so at this time of the year when folk generally are skint then is it worth paying £12 to watch a game which always should have been very one-sided? Plus it was baltic and the pavements around the ground were pretty treacherous after the weather on Friday night.

Got to admit that if I hadn't bought my ticket in advance (just to get my dad a freebie) then I would have rather stayed in warmth of the house yesterday watching Sky Sports results show.

Hoping to get an attractive home tie in the next round - or Cowdenbeath or Stranraer!!!!

I took myself along to watch the Rose vs Forfar it was a classic well worth the 15 quid for a ticket. Not even my local junior team but just fancied this game much more than the Well game.

Exactly fans go to games , particularly floating fans to see competition and excitement. Us playing cove at home had potentially zero drama about it and that's the way it turned out. Thats why the leagues dying on its @rse year on year , zero competition

£15 for this game - you're joking surely!! A junior club versus a senior but lower league club. Folk complain about that being too much for a premiership game.

Nope think of it this way no different than Prem clubs milking celtic when then come to town.I mean a crowd of 2,100 yesterday at the game that's about 14-15 grand each alot of money for the Rose.

I suppose they have to make as much as they do from cup runs i dont really mind paying that wee bit extra to the junior clubs.
