    Techy TV advice needed

My trusty 21inch tv expired last night after about 25 years sterling service (née flowers but cash can be forwarded to my drinking fund)

I had a browse on some websites earlier but there's loads off of choices

I don't watch much TV, perhaps 10 hours an week, so can anyone recommend a brand or particular model, probably a 32 inch model or 40 inch max

    Thanks... nee timewasters

ps.. I don't want Sky, Freeview is enough for me

Sony or Panasonic are generally top-notch Deez. You can get Freeview built-in but Freeview HD would be better. LG are also getting a good now. Divn't bother with owt that's curved, they're over-rated, but 4k may be useful when content catches up.

    Beetroot for yer dinner tomorrow.

    Divn't eat yellow snow.

    Owt else?

I bought a JVC in the summer the picture quality is good but the sound is a bit tinny. I ended up buying a sound plank to go with it. In summary check the sound aswell as the picture.

If you only watch it for ten hours a week ,why buy one when you can watch it online on your PC or tablet for free..
