re: Authorities investigate allegations of racist abuse

As a Carlisle United fan I would like to apologise for what occurred during the game and would like to stress that this is in no way typical behaviour of the Carlisle fan base. We deplore behaviour of this racist manner and are proud of the mix of ethnic origins of all of our players. The individuals concerned are not true supporters of our club. I hope this does not detract from the heartfelt thanks we owe Everton and your supporters for what they have done for our club. I personally wish all the best to kone and piennar and to Everton football club.
