    middlesboro(away)predictions

The script is all there for Rhodes to bang the winner in for them
I however feel we can Nick something here
2-2 and for once both us and the dingles will take that.

Even harder than usual! Will Rhodes go straight into the team? Surely that would be a risk.
For sure, the very fact he's there should bring a spirited response from our players, though.
It will surely take a while for some of our new signings to bed in, so how many will PL use for this game?
A lottery, really - especially as Boro have lost two-in-a-row.
    1-1

Sorry, but it's a defeat for me Robbo. 2-0 maybe. Obviously I hope to be wrong.

I'm usually optimistic with my predictions but I've got a feeling we'll get beat 3-1 with you know who scoring at least one. Not sure who I think will score for us, two in two for Watt would be good.

The Roy of the Rovers version says, Rovers 1 - Boro 0. Tough game, keep Rhodes at bay, Gomez or Watt or Hanley fires the only deciding goal. Lambert is praised and buys 6 months of getting away with anything from the 52 fans left.

Reality says we get beat 2-0, but show improvement in overall footballing style.

I like the Roy of the Rovers version best.

Yes it's a tasty prospect given the recent events, but in reality it's just another/the next game.
This is how we/PL will approach it, there will be no lingering thought of JR on his mind . Only towards our defence in keeping him quiet. Given our squads experience of training with him for so long I would hope this could give them a small advantage ( he's not Messi after all!).
It's a longer 'journey' for PL as opposed to Midds, who have now taken on further 'expenses' in their quest, so I see them actually under more pressure than us to get a result.

Prediction.........??? However, I lean a bit towards Dans 'reality' predict, but then again you never know.
