    Diamonds are forever

Watching the game on Tuesday night I felt the team selected was crying out to be played in a diamond formation, with Blackman and Martin up front and Ince sitting in behind. The only change that would potentially need to be made is replacing the more defensive minded Warnock with Olson who would offer more of an attacking threat. It's clear for everyone to see that the current formation isn't working at the moment, so something needs to change.

Couldnt agree more although Im not sure if we wouldnt be better with Bent & Weimann as the front 2 with Ince in behind.

Then play 3 midfield out of Thorne Butterfield Hendrick Johnson and use attack minded full backs to give width.

Bryson can cover for Ince in the hole if Ince has one of his nightmare days...as can Hughes when he is back

Absolutely Roger, not only does the formation suit the starting 11 it also suits the whole squad. It's a no brainier for me!

PC's intended formation at the start of the season. Not seen since that horrible day at The Macron. I too agree a better formation that suits the players we have at our disposal.
