    Immigrants

Just wondering how many we should let in country by country..

England 1 millionor even 2 million would be real good of our neighbours.

    Scotland 100,000.

    Wales 80,000.

    N Ireland 80,000.

We have to let in an set amount and close the gates but we do need to let as many truly desperate people who are in that situation through no fault of their own.

Two million is fine by me as long they send them to somewhere like Stoke, or Coventry.

Which ones you talking about Jimmy?

Asylum seekers (fleeing their own countries for a Convention reason)?
Economic migrants (leaving for a better life elsewhere)?
    Foreign students?
    Businessmen?
    Seasonal workers?
Workers in general? Nurses? Doctors? Waiters? Shopworkers?
    Holidaymakers?

All are immigrants for whatever reason. Which ones?

I of already done that this week. The other neet I saw summat small moving slowly across the road and turned out to be an toad, presumably roused from its hibernation for some reason. I picked it up and put it in the park opposite before it got flattened.

Anyone genuinely fleeing for their lives will probably qualify as an asylum seeker. We should take our share, but notice that the very minute that they arrive in a safe country (Italy, Greece, Turkey) they try and head straight for a ferry or train to start the long trek to Germany or Britain. Choosy, eh? Southern European countries should also take their share, but you know as well as I do that as soon as they've been settled there and seen the state of play they'll be heading north as soon as they can. That's why I support the Government (which is unusual) in taking them from the camps.

Economic migrants - a good half of those crossing the Med - can go home. Their countries have invested in them and they are the future of those countries. They should be sent back.

Nurses can come, so long as they're fit.
