    Northampton ...

look home and hosed after winning 1. 0 at Oxford. Their 8th consecutive win. With Accy drawing 1.1 at home to Carlisle it has been a good evening for us. We need to put a run together if we are to take advantage.

And therein lies the rub (weird saying). We've been stuttering more than that bloke on Call My Bluff (Patrick Campbell?) all fecking season. Have we strung three wins together in the league? Probably not (can't be arsed to look).

Yes, Patrick Campbell it was. I think that sometimes we are overly optimistic about our club, which is odd bearing in mind the poo that has been rained down on us over the last few years. If, as I think we will, we get into the play-offs that is as good as I expected it to be this season. We began the season with a new manager, backroom staff and playing squad that Cook has us playing as well as we have been on occasions is a minor miracle, hiccups were bound to happen and have, perhaps more times than we all would have liked. I remain optimistic about our future.

I agree Algernon. I would have taken play-offs back in August but frustrating none-the-less to have a squad that I believe could have done better. Still at least from now to the end of the season will be interesting/fun I hope.
