Seeing as this is a moderated board outcasts are officially welcome here ( hopefully). There are posters from Burnley, Derby, Millwall, Walsall, Sunderland, Barnsley and Preston to a few clubs. I am sure Gaz ( who is the official Swindon delegate) will confirm that. I am sure you will have met him if you have ever been to see your team play Swindon. He is the one wearing a red and white scarf.

I have been posting on here for years even though it is a bit quiet these days.

Welcome Swaledale....still hold a grudge for stealing O'hare and Todd from us , that's when we stopped being a big club...Todd was the best young player we ever produced

Thanks Gaz, yes well we don't want to invoke the wrath of HQ now do we?

I always remember the time Swindon did not get promoted due to a breach of the rules then see what QPR (and others)seem to have got away with since and think it was totally unfair.

The thing is the way the game is going will a club like Swindon ever have the chance of promotion to the Prem again?

One of the first ever games I went to was Oxford v Swindon. 0-0 until about 93rd minute when my dad reckoned it was time to leave... needless to say only goal then went in. At least thats how I remeber it: we may have headed off sooner.

Anyway as a born north gloucestershire schooled south gloucestershire person I always liked Swindon, mainly due to the minor godlike figure of Don Rogers: he had a good too

Hi folks. I think Rod Thomas was another top player who came to Derby for a couple of seasons. We were still quite good then...

Welcome, VD.... not too words often seen together. Rod Thomas was indeed a decent player for the Rams but its hard to get past his innate Welshness, particularly during 6 Nations time of year
