    Rovers 3 mk dons 2

Concerning that we made such hard work of such a poor side but encouraging that we look more capable of goals from throughout the team without Rhodes.

I've never liked the idea that only the result matters. Obviously, avoiding relegation is the priority, but it is supposed to be "the beautiful game", after all!

Incidentally, the quote below is from the "report" on the official site about the injuries to Evans and Marshall. Does anyone else think such comments are completely pointless?

"Ben has got a kick on his knee and Corry has rocked his ankle," the manager told Radio Rovers.

"So we'll just have to wait and see for them on Tuesday.

"We'll see how they recover, we'll get them going, and hopefully they'll be okay."

Yet again a dig at Lambert, whereas you stuck up for bowyer at every opportunity. Why?

You're paranoid. It's not a dig at Lambert at all. I'm asking what on earth is the point of writing a report that tells us absolutely nothing?
    We KNEW they were injured.
We are all HOPEFUL they will be OK.
What information do we actually get from the report?

As for my "sticking up for" Bowyer, I am getting a bit sick of you not reading what I actually write.
    What don't you get about:
"Bowyer can have few complaints about his sacking."
"Bowyer was given a good run but there was a sense that we were treading water."
"I doubt very much that we could have got a better replacement than Lambert"?

Now if you want me to go the other extreme and say that I think PL has done a great job so far, I'm going to refuse.
He had an initial burst of success, using the same team and same tactics as Bowyer, but with a bit more luck on his side. He

So your criticising the report rather than the manager? OK I accept that and apologise. I misunderstood. Hope you can see why there was a misunderstanding from your wording.

Fair enough. No - it's the site that annoys me. You almost never get real news - such as proper injury-reports, with statements about when players will be back.
Also, when people leave the club - sometimes after years of service - the comment is usually just a bland two-liner. All very superficial.
As I said, we learned absolutely nothing new from that article.
