I think he should be grateful to us for giving him so much time to cut his teeth at this level in English football if we did have the finances behind us we'd have sacked him months ago!

Neil Lennon has aimed criticism at outgoing Bolton owner Eddie Davies, suggesting withdrawing funding has done nothing but harm the club.
Pending Football League approval, Davies will complete a sale to Sports Shield next week, a consortium headed by former Wanderers forward Dean Holdsworth.
Having remained tight-lipped about his time as Trotters manager, Lennon has spoken for the first time about the difficulties encountered during his 16 months in charge and claims he may not have taken on the role if the full picture regarding Davies' situation had been made clear from the outset.
"I certainly didn't see the club being in this position," Lennon told The Guardian.
"When I took the job on, it was a case of: 'Keep us up and we will have a go at it next season.' We kept them up comfortably but the rest didn't materialise; I have had to cut, cut, cut the wage bill, sell players and not spend a penny. It does curb your enthusiasm because it wasn't how I expected the job to go.

Interesting article. Would like to follow up with some further reading; any chance you could post a link to the original link Campo?
Also, do we actually have new owners yet or is the whole thing dragging on? Every day it seems there are conflicting reports about what the heck is going on.
Lennon is right. and for all those shouting for his head, I still wonder what could have been achieved had he been allowed to spend and bring in some decent players.
I know he has made some questionable decisions, but he has also been under a lot of pressure for most of his tenure here.
As for new owners, NO, not as far as I know, and we only had until close of play today, Sunday to sort matters out.
We're back in court Monday morning, and if it isn't settled before that we will likely be wound up this time.
In which case we could have played out last game!![]()
