    Derby v Huddersfield

I'll be honest with you, I'm completely unenthusiastic about this game. Usually I'm looking forward to a game a couple of days in advance no matter who we are playing, but similarly to a lot of people on here it feels like the enthusiasm has been completely sucked out of me. That hasn't happened for a while.

Anyway, people seem to enjoy these little preview things so I'll keep this one short and sweet.

Is there a more bog standard team in this league than Huddersfield? If you were tasked with trying to the 24 teams in the Championship then I imagine on average Huddersfield would be the one of the last teams mentioned. Nothing exciting about them but a few teams have slipped up against them this season.

    Hudd form: 15th 2-1-3
    Hudd attack: 10th/24
    Hudd attack: 16th/24

    Ones to watch:

Dean Whitehead: centre mid 22 apps
Ah the experienced head. What a big head it is at that. The truth is he probably wouldn't be playing if it wasn't for injuries, and

Like you I have lost my enthusiasm for this game. The forecast for tomorrow is cold with a possibility of snow. I almost think I'd prefer a trip to the dentist than sitting watching rubbish.
If we don't win well tomorrow that will be it for me. Too many hours and too much money I'll never get back.
    Your questions:
    1) 1-0
    2) Hendrick for Thorne. Blackman for Martin,Weimann for Ince
    3) Probably, we wont go up anyway.
    4) Overpaid prima donnas who aren't a team
    5) Boxer-my neighbours have one I see ******** on the lawn every morning

Too much doom and gloom on this thread from the first post!!
if you think that this season is bad you obviously are too young to remember a few other of our notable achievements.
The late seventies saw us drop out of the old first division after a couple of years of dross and the 83/84 season saw us lose our first game of the season 5-0 at Chelsea. Even Barnsley hit 5 against us. We were relegated to the old third division at the end of the season but within 5 years we were back in the top flight and finishing in firth place.
I never missed a game when we were down in the third and what about the 1990/91 season? We went 22 games without a win from December to April and were relegated at Maine Road when Dean Saunders missed a penalty against an outfield player (NIall Quinn if I remember). We won the following game 6-2 after relegation had been confirmed.
I will not even start talking about the 2007 season and the amount of times we conceded 5, 6 and 7 goals.

    Compared to those sea
