How ironic would it be that we can go on a run with mainly the eleven who finished today's game with Hughes also involved.
Team balance looked better at the end.
I really have no idea what may or may not happen but with 33 points to play for you never know...
The other irony could see both McClaren and Nigel Clough going head to head unless of course McClaren is pushed off the cliff beforehand.

I'd play Bryson instead of Hendrick . The lad's too inconsistent. Brilliant one moment, a clown the next.
Personally though I thought Blackman did alright and deserves another go on the right. He's not your typical inside forward but if given a run of games it could pay dividends. I've been saying for weeks that it should be Blackman on the right and Ince on the left, when they've been played the other way round. Ince is too predictable on the right and had one of his best games in a while on the left hand side.
Can't choose between Thorne and Hanson . The first thing Thorne did when he came on was hit a long ball out of play which pretty much sums up how he's played this season. But knowing what he can do, it might take a run of games to get him back on form.
Finally, I'm a bit concerned with Olsson . Defensively he looks like a disaster waiting to happen. I said to my brother (who I go to games with) "you know it's a concern when Christi
Warnock stunted our play going forwards. Much prefer Olsson.
Warnock is a better defender though from what I have seen.
I'd play Bryson over Hendrick and Hanson gets the nod from me over Thorne. I'd also like to see Camara given a run of games too.
I think Hendricks and Bryson have to start after that. Butterfield has been decent this season, but he was off the ball yesterday. Hendrick and Bryson clearly like playing together. I thought Hendrick was excellent in the last 30 minutes yesterday.
For me, Blackman was poor. He missed a gilt-edged chance early, which is forgivable, As Russell misses plenty. He created a very good chance for himself with a rasping shot, but that was about it.
My big issue with him is his lack of movement. When we were breaking, he was jogging up the pitch, it was frustrating to see. With Russell scoring and linking up well with the midfield, I can see him starting the next match.
A quick word on Ince, he looked very sharp today and seemingly played more centrally, picking some superb passes. A lot less predictable on that side.
Thorne and Hanson both played well. I'd argue we looked me solid with Thorne, but Hanson put some amazing tackles in. I'd keep him in. It's great to see youth being g
Rambam I think you and your brother must sit with your backs to the pitch if you think Blackman did ok he was diabolical No wonder the Reading fans say he is bone idle Agree with you about Olsson I prefer Warnock after all a full backs first job is to defend I think Warnock has been treated poorly he was our most consistent player during our poor run As for yesterday not very often we are over run at home but we certainly were yesterday we still have some egos in the team not putting a shift in To be honest I hope im wrong but I cant see us making the play offs
I personally hope we dont get in the play offs but its certainly a possibility as no team is managing a consistent run apart from Burneley
