Paul Clement Speaks...

He doesn't, but this I think is one of the fascinating aspects of the last few months' debacle.

No statement whatsoever from Paul Clement.

This is very unusual. When a manager parts company with a club there is almost ALWAYS a press release from the outgoing party. They will usually talk about disappointment etc. Usually, the statement will be complete ****, but why no statement at all from Paul?

We did have the "childish", and, "lacking ambition", comments from Ancelotti but that's been about it.

Anybody have a theory on this?

Settlement agreement which includes a 'gagging order'

Correct he signed a compromise agreement. But he was sacked and allegedly received no compensation, the rumours of affairs with players wifes are wide of the mark however

no matter how it is dressed up and never mind the conspiracy theories it is obvious to me that the Mel rant in the changing room had a huge part to play in it

Well your wrong the rant had no bearing, that only got out due to an unhappy player getting his agent to leak to the press.

so why was he sacked ??????????????? no offence but if you know the facts others will know them and it would have leaked.

It won't leak out, but club really had no alternative, the problem has been waiting for someone else in the summer.

I'm guessing that Clement has been unable to do any interviews because he hasn't been able to stop laughing for long enough to talk properly.
