    Camp V Pollitt

    How does he compare?
Pollitt used all his area (and a lot more) frequenty giving away free kicks for handling outside the box, but an excellent stopper.
Camp? Doesn't use all his area but around the danger area is unreal (as today)
Pollitt and Camp in the same breath ? Yep Camp is as good as we have had.

As much as I like Campy, Pollitt still comes out on top for me.

Funnily enough I was comparing Camp to Pollitt at half-time. Cast your mind back 15 years ago to a paint pot cup match against Chesterfield. In the 2nd half Pollitt, then playing for Chesterfield after leaving us in poor circumstances the season before walked towards the Tivoli end facing sheer hatred from the home fans and completely choked and ended up almost playing in the sweepers position.
Now today Camp faced the exact situation of walking towards a full stand of fans who, for whatever reason hate him with a passion and did he choke? Did he bo!!ocks!

So for me Camp is the best keeper we've had in the 45 or so years I've been watching the Millers and by far Evans's best signing!

Camp from what I've seen of him. Pollitt was a decent stopper but flapped like a flounder around the box.

Pollitt for me but to help him he had two better centrebacks in front of him than Camp has now

Despite the fact that Pollitt had height advantage, Camp is better at dealing with crosses.Pollitt was a brilliant shot stopper, but Camp edges it on his all round game.

Pollitt also did it in the Prem, played in a league cup final (albeit for 30 seconds before getting injured). Pollitt every time.

    Camp is reet good though.
