Leave Bournemouth who look like they will stay up probably ......

Just shows how unrealistic some people are!

Surely you would really like Wenger, Pep, Mourinho?

Oh you mean realistically and think Howe would drop from Bournemouth to you.

Get's homesick if more than 10 miles from the South coast.

Steady, safe pair of hand to steady the ship needed IMO. Not necessarily him, but along the lines of Martin O'Neill.

Mourinho has announced that he has a new job lined up from July - and as it now seems that Lauren Blanc is going to Man Utd, then you never know ;-)

So...serious answer, I'd really like Rowett on the basis that he 'understands' the situation at Derby and has proved a success both at Burton and Birmingham. If he could work with Carsley I think that would be a good fit...been there, seen it, done it and proved himself able to deal with adversity. Both strong men of integrity imo. Failing that, Hughton and Warburton would be worth a look. Whoever it is I'd be looking for someone with more integrity than McClaren and more experience than Clement. Those are my choice of most likely top three candidates anyway but I'm sure there will be others.

Rowett is the top answer. Played for Rams, was here when we had some success; seems to handle himself well; can motivate and get players playing for him. Good talker, intelligent, nice sense of humour and has dropped a strong hint that he couldn't decline if offered. Lives in Derbyshire.
