No he is coming in as a consultant until the end of the season to work alongside Wassall - which is not a terrible move as he does at least have management experience unlike Wassall and as he wont be buying players or agreeing contracts he will have no financial impact.

It seems an odd move but looks like a desperate move by Mel to support his lapdog Wassall.
