Is Morris good for our club?

There has been a lot of negative directed against him in the past few weeks, me included, so do you think his taking over the club is a good thing?

Personally, I do not like to see someone having so much power within a club. What is the point in having a Board of Directors with the main man having a 95% holding? I think the power should be more evenly distributed so a more democratic approach to running the club can be put in place offering long term stability and a sensible and balanced approach to the management of the club.

His money is a plus, but it can also be a negative if that money is not spent wisely within FFP rules.

The biggest negative for me is the apparent irrational and somewhat bizarre way he wants to run the club.

I am not in the know or anything like that, but I get the sense he runs the club with a rod of iron. This is just my view of course and I have nothing to back it up, just a hunch. I may be way off beam.

If he can learn to hold back with

Absolutely spot on for this bit ".I do not like to see someone having so much power within in a club. What is the point in having a Board of Directors with the main man having a 95% holding? Not sure about the comments on the way he treats his staff, don't believe outsiders are in a position to know.

As I said I have no evidence to back up the way he runs the club. It is just a hunch, nothing more and I could be wrong of course.

He owns the club so it really does not matter what we think!

He is a lot better than many owners we have had and to date whilst recent events have been strange, he has got this club into the top 6.

Compare with the situation at Boro where Gibson has been in charge and bankrolled the club for a long time, a time that has seen the club reach the premier , european and domestic cup finals and then a period of relegation and the doldrums before seemingly on the up again - I for one would be quite happy if Mel acheives half of that with Derby!

So would I, but I would be happier if he took less of a hands on role.

And I used to deliver Charlie George's, John Robson's and Stuart Webb's.

Any other readers have a paper delivery claim to fame?
