Does he really mean it though or is it just a bit of a rushed apology to appease the fans (and DW of course)?

Unnecessary apology over a minor flashpoint.

Hard to criticise it though as too many fans need to have their hands held through everything as they are too naïve and too demanding.

Act like kids, get treated like kids. "Mummy and daddy weren't fighting. No we're not getting divorced".

For crying out loud, it was a frank exchange of views after a shocking end to a match. Get over it.
