How are Sports Shield going to sort this mess out with no money we need a complete new team and i will stick my neck out now and say forget the kids for next season most of them are not good enough and the rest are not ready yet!

I think you answered your own question Campo.

Quite simply they are NOT!

Some of the kids ARE good enough. But you need experience in there - and not the same clowns that have let down Lennon, and ever manager before him.

We thus sit on the horns of a dilemma.

Assuming we get past Monday, under the present ownership, we have nothing to look forward to but more of the same, and an inevitable drop down the leagues and the further selling off fo assets until we end up playing non-league football on Leverhulme Park!

They have little money, if any, and thus will l not be able to pay off the senior players who we really need to shed - and I mean virtually ALL of them, including that haghly paid sacred cow Mark Davies!
Not a One of them has shown any real determination to fight for the club for many a long season, and they need to go.
But we can't afford get rid of them. Nor can we afford to pay their wages with out inevitable lower league status.

The next big question is why did Davies sell the club to Sports Shield when he knew they had no money to change things quickly i heard we had 50 bids to buy the club surely 1 of the 50 had enough money to get us out of this mess!

Probably because they had enough money to clear the overdue taxes, and set up a viable plan/funding acceptable to HMRC for the final court hearing, AND were willing to climb in Bed with him.

That in itself leaves another question - why?

What is the aim?

It is hardly saving the club, as we're just lurching from one crisis to the next.

Equally, if ED had stalled long enough the club would have been wound up and he would have come foward as largest creditor after HMRC took their money to mop up. the remains.

Whatever, I don't see a happy outcome as it stands.

Perhaps they will surprise us all on Monday morning and reveal they have assets worth £200 million available for BWFC; I doubt it but . . . . ?

We still have a superb Stadium,Hotel and the Eddie Davies Academy in Lostock that will be the envy of other clubs in League one all we need now is a football team,i think the Stadium could be an albatross around our neck next season because of the running costs and unless we get the pricing low enough on the season tickets for next season the Stadium will be empty!
