You can certainly ask.....though I'm not sure the club has offered any sort of refund option so they may well tell you where to get off.....

If you've taken out the monthly direct debit option you are being charged interest. It ought to be possible to argue that this makes the deal effectively a loan. All loans now must come with a fourteen day cooling off period where you can cancel without penalty. So if you paid by DD in the last fortnight then I'd say that the club would struggle to refuse to give you a refund - or in this case, just cancel the order.

    re: Refund on Ticket

A few years ago a refund was offered and it came to lighten that because fixtures will change during the season it can make it that people can't really get the benefit so they have to give you a refund before the ticket is used for any games unless it expressly states otherwise in the Ts and Cs. However it also has to be proved that these Ts and Cs were clear at the time of purchase. Has anyone been given them if asked if they agree to them?

I've had to return two season tickets prior to seasons for people before. Both because they moved away and there was no problem. If they have taken that away now it's bad customer services.

In an ideal world the price of a season ticket would be fixed irrespective of when you buy it. Unfortunately in this day & age, the value of any consumer product is grossly distorted by aggressive marketing tactics. The key word being misused in the professional football world is 'club'. If these football businesses were indeed clubs, they would exist for the benefits of the members (supporters). I doubt there are many, if any, English professional football 'clubs' who could claim this to be the case.

Why would that be an ideal world? Do you not approve on discounts for buying early?

Also, like it not DCFC are, like other professional football clubs, is a private limited company that exists for it shareholders. It's not a social club that would exist for the benefit of it's members. Anyone who thinks it is a social club because it has the word "club" in its is somewhat naive. Like it or not, we are customers who ch

I asked the question because another thread mentioned it and I like to know my options! I'm not really bothered if we don't go up and actually just want to see competitive attractive football. Cardiff proved we are not doing either. If we play badly against Hull the club ownership will really come under fire!
Incidentally the car analogy is wrong, you can cancel right up to last minute but lose your deposit. Same with a house.
