Who cares?(no offence intended). All eyes on venkys now. Nothing else matters. They hold the future of Blackburn rovers as we know it in their hands.
We do have the chance to end the season on a high and that might be good for boosting confidence and persuading Venky's to keep the money coming in.
We have not been at all lucky recently: poor refereeing; sendings-off; deflected goals, etc.
Those runs can easily change, though.
These are our last six games:
Wolves (A)
Huddersfield (H)
Forest (A)
Bristol City (H)
Rotherham (A)
Reading (H)
None of those teams are in the top ten, and we are in no danger of relegation. With a little bit of luck, we could pick up at least 12 points from those games, which would dramatically increase the feel-good factor.
I accept that some of those teams will be battling for their survival, but we should be able to play with freedom, and there must be a few people in our team who are playing for their jobs!

I think you're wrong. Confidence ALWAYS matters in sport.
Have you read Lambert's comments in the telegraph? The football is a sideshow right now. Our situation is dire.
I can appreciate you just want to talk about the game itself and what happens on the field, but I'm afraid were beyond that now.
It could be time to restart the protests and not stop this time til we hound these arseholes out.
The thing is saxo we hound them out and we could as a club be doomed
if there is a chance we could survive then yes hound them out even if it means dropping a couple of leagues
the problem is they are the ones who hold the majority of the debt.
Oh and aucks I agree it is a reasonable run in
i cannot see us getting any less than 7 points and that should be enough to be safe.
Sorry to repeat myself again but, this ship for me was always limping to port this term and being readied for much needed refurbishment. Up to now it's been sticking plasters to get it there.
Now, unless something has been agreed beforehand between Venkys and PL that we are not party to, it is now a very precarious position. I cannot believe Venkys, despite maybe accepting it's next year, are not seriously nervous / unsure. And likewise PL cannot be enjoying this journey IF there is no light appearing form the harbour!
Myers resignation says loud and clear to me that for him personally that dock is not ready or prepared to provide the necessary repairs.
Sorry to be so bleak, but I can only call it how I see it.
However to rally against the Venkys now is a totally pointless exercise a would only exhaserbate the situation. The damage has been well and truly done, and no amount of shouting and bawling will alter that.
If my fears above are with foundation, the absolutely only way I c
As always I'd much prefer to have Venky's out and start again from wherever that might be.
We owe Venkys's £100m of debt. I really hope nobody is seriouslty thinking of thinking about trying to hiund them out. Or you'll be looking for another club to support.
They have a business to run, and wont write off that amount. We where more than happy sitting up at the top table and taking the riches when they came. We allowed forgein investment, and football cluns are run as busniesses. If you chase the dream, potentially this happens. So many clubs are suffering (and will continue to do so) of this same thing. But it is what it is.
Venky's are having a good think of whether to plough more money in. That may or may not work. But if they want their £100m back, they have one chance. get us up. And then sell. So they are considering how much this will take. And is it worth it?
Hounding them out is not an option.
We are very much caught between the devil and the deep blue sea
reliant on the perpetrators of our downfall
If they need that money back which I would imagine they do then they will need to put more in and push for the big time as this current band of players is more league one than premier league.
