My respect to the families of the dead, not giving up the fight to get the truth.. Those lying Phookin police bastids need taking to court ,changing witnesses statements ,making false statements and telling lies about the gates being forced open by the fans ..hopefully they will be prosecuted soon..

worst police force in the country, been to Sheffield many times in the 70s and 80s my mate got time for assaulting a police officer at Bramall Lane he never touched him they used to wade in hitting anyone insight and they enjoyed it hope they get what they deserve.

The verdict proves what the whole country have known for many years and that is that the police lied and fabricated the truth about what really happened on that day! As for justice Red, the people of Liverpool and the families who had loved ones taken from them will only get this when and if those "lying Phookin police Bastids" are finally brought to justice and are made to pay for their crimes!!!

There ought to be an investigation into why it took so long to resolve this tragic affair.

A nation built on corruption and lies, gawd knows what other countries are like :-/

I can't believe some people are still blaming the fans, anyone apart from a complete fool can see this was a catastrophic failure and mismanagement by the police. There job is to look after the public plain and simple, drunk or sober, with or without tickets.

The sad thing is S Yorks police seem to have learned phook all, they surrounded a group of Derby fans for singing in a pub in Donny last season. I spoke to the inspector in charge (I was over the other side of the pub initially) and said there was no need for the heavy handed approach, just ask us to move on and we would. They arrested 2 fans for nothing and I came close too for challenging him - A complete load of phucking bell ends.

I hope the senior officers that tried to cover this up go to jail, they deserve to!!!!

This says it all to me and should clear up and doubt from those that are still blaming the fans:

I have considered carefully what I want to say here about Hillsborough. The media coverage over the past few days, comments in the House of Commons and the suspension of the South Yorkshire Chief Constable all persuade me to post my thoughts.

I was a Constable, Sergeant and Inspector in South Yorkshire Police and served 17yrs before leaving to run a family business. I was there on the pitch at Hillsborough when the tragedy occurred working as a PC in a public order serial which had been called into the ground when the shout went up for assistance.

I witnessed the lack of command. The almost complete radio silence from the control room at the ground and the ridiculous decision to line up our serial in front of the Notts fans to prevent a pitch invasion whilst people at the Leppings Lane end were in obvious trouble.

    I broke
