Playoff Prediction Thread

Ok we don't yet know for certain who we will play in the play offs but its looking like Hull.

Do you think we will

1) Get to the final
2) Get promotion

Which team do you think is most likely to go up via the playoffs if not Derby?

Had a horrible feeling that we might get undone by Hull, despite taking a convincing six points off them, for a while...hope I'm wrong.
If Boro' miss out on the top two then I think they'll be favourites especially after reading Sma11ey's stats on the other thread.
If we produce our best we can beat anyone but we are Derby 'flatter to deceive' County so anything can happen. Not necessarily a catastrophe if we have to wait a while longer imo, but I really don't know how we should approach these last two games with the play offs so close.

I believe we will finish we here we are now in fifth so why bust a gut to try and win the last 2 games. We are too far behind Hull and too far in front of the Owls.I understand that keeping momentum is important but our first priority to should be to protect our key players from suspension/injury.
What we did against Hull this season is irrelevant.
If you remember we played Preston in the last game of the season and won 3-1 but they rested some of their key players and in the play-offs only a few days later they beat us. We failed to score over both legs.
Rest the players.......I do not think what happens against Brighton will have any bearing on the play-offs for us.

Hull dont seem to be trying very hard 1-0 down to Bolton in 85th minute

I have my usual pessimism, I may not even watch the hull game.

It's becoming more apparent that promotion this season is very important. There is every possibility that the championship will be accommodating Newcastle & Sunderland or Norwich next season and those teams will probably be very strong opposition. Shelf Wed & Cardiff will also be stronger, so top two next season is not going to be easy at all.

Getting into the play offs this season gives the players a chance to re pay the fans for last seasons collapse and the poor form leading up to Clements departure. Nothing less than an absolute all out effort to achieve promotion will do. I expect the team to rise to the challenge and get DCFC promoted to the PL via the play offs.

I think the top 3 will all go up, two autos and 3rd team will win play offs! I think we're great going forward and there's plenty of goals in us but we are very suspect at the back!

I think we can either be brilliant or suspect all over!

Be intresting to see what we do against Brighton, agree that we should rotate squad - cue Angry storming in, but Hull are clearly doing that and as has been said preston did it very successfully aginst us.

Watched the Hull - Bolton match earlier and the former were absolute garbage. We've destroyed them twice this season and I have a very good feeling that we'll do it again. Feel like our players would want it a hell of a lot more than theirs.

Not as confident about the final if we get there. But anything can happen...
